The McCann Review has led to a new settlement opportunity for some people. LCAG welcomes any practical relief for affected families.
However, the restricted scope leaves serious unresolved issues, including people who already settled, people outside the terms, and the continuing lack of transparency around HMRC and Treasury figures.
LCAG will continue to press for fairness, accountability and proper scrutiny.
